Managing Enterprise Experience
Successfully
The Fraunhofer Center Maryland (FC-MD) invites you to attend this course, which will help you identify, structure, and manage your organizations’ knowledge and experience with state-of-the art approaches.
|
Public Offerings:
Friday, Oct 24 |
Location:
Fraunhofer
Center Maryland |
Objective:
Most
organizations understand how important corporate
knowledge is to the success of their business. However, while collecting
information can be relatively easy, getting value out of that information
eludes many. Consideration must be given to processes, smart use of tools,
implementation techniques, size, scalability, and the context within which an Experience Base is implemented.
This
training provides state-of-the-art approaches for how to identify, structure,
and manage knowledge and experience in your organization. Tips on how to set up
or further develop and improve a successful Learning Software Organization are discussed. Attendees will find
the presented Experience Factory
(EF) concepts useful in providing effective support in various process
improvement initiatives, including CMMI®, TQM, ISO 9000, and SPICE.
Organizers:
Instructor: Mr. Raimund L Feldmann has more then ten years of experience in creating
Experience Factories (EFs) for industry and government. Currently, he is
involved in the Acquisition Best Practice Clearinghouse program, a web-based EF
of the U.S. Department of Defense. Before he joined FC-MD in 2004, he was
responsible for the development of the underlying EF of the
software-kompetenz.de portal, funded by the Department of Education and
Research of the German Federal Government to offer up-to-date Software
Engineering knowledge to Germany’s small and medium-sized enterprises.
