recipients of the Fraunhofer assistantships will work on software engineering
research projects at the Fraunhofer Center, Maryland.
1.
Before
being considered for an assistantship, applicants must fulfill all requirements
for admission to the graduate program in Computer Science at the

Applicants
must be interested in a research topic related to software engineering.
3.
Applicants
must have at least 2 years of full-time professional experience with a software
development organization prior to being awarded this assistantship.
4.
The
Fraunhofer GRA is available to those wanting to pursue a Ph.D. degree, but those
wanting a M. S. degree will also be considered.
1.
Each
Fraunhofer assistantship carries a 12-month stipend of $30,000 in addition to
tuition and other benefits.

Each
